Hi, I’m Kit.
I am a counselor, grief tender, creativity coach, artist, writer and—you know—human. I live and work on occupied Squaxin and Nisqually land, otherwise known as Olympia, Washington.
I create a space of safety, non-judgment, and growth, in which inner desires are named and brought into fruition. I believe that death-awareness can bring us all more into our aliveness, and that creativity can help us process that which is impossible to explain. I help folks find the tools they need to author their own lives, and make conscious choices all the way to the end. I believe there are a multitude of ways to reach another human being, and that therapy, itself, can be an art.
My work is inspired by liminal spaces, narwhals (or any whales, really), memorials, moss growing on pavement, earnest graffiti and the messages people leave in bathroom stalls, making a mess, wind chimes, Miss Honey from Matilda, morning light, gardening, spectrums, moths and the moon, and relational alchemy.
