This is a blog about feeling feelings, living and mourning artfully, and being a human whose life is ever-ending.
Whether or not you see yourself as an artist, I know that you are creating your masterpiece right now as you read these words. Your masterpiece is your life. I know that sounds cheesy, but it doesn’t stop it from being true.
Together, we are unfurling.

These writings are not therapeutic intervention and are not meant to replace therapeutic care. If you are struggling with your mental health and are needing support, I urge you to find an individual therapist. If you are in a crisis or emergency situation, please seek emergency support by calling a local crisis line, texting 741741 or calling 988.
I acknowledge that what I describe in this blog is not universal, meaning that what is written about here cannot be applied to each person and each situation. I will represent my own experience as much as I can, knowing that I leave out that which I cannot speak to.
I expect you to have your own moral, political, idealogical, and spiritual views and beliefs. We can be different and still speak truths from alternate perspectives. I speak not from a place of being “the expert” and more so as a fellow human being feeling things, responding to the world, and figuring it all out. If we can, let us please show each other grace, kindness, and options that exist outside of the binary black-and-white or right-or-wrong.
